Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adam Ash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcin Sokol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sokol comes into a darkened arena with his song building. DMX - X gon' give it to Ya kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ash moves out of range of the leg kick from Sokol.

Sokol looks to score with a jab to the body but Ash is just out of range.

Ash shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sokol sprawls well. Sokol wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ash gets slowly back to his feet.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ash connects with a nice short shot to Sokol's temple.

Ash sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sokol's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ash looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sokol with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Ash does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The fighters circle momentarily. Ash darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
