Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chong Horn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilson Mamado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mamado is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Thunderstruck. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chong Horn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wilson Mamado!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mamado moves into the clinch.
A shot in the inside from Mamado.
Horn managing to block the knees to the body from Mamado.
Mamado wants to break the clinch but can't.
Mamado is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Horn pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Horn really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mamado lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Horn wants to stall.
Mamado tries to score a body lock takedown but Horn shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Horn is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Horn breaks the clinch.

Mamado instigates a clinch.
Horn on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Horn is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Horn looking to stall.
Mamado looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Horn wants to break the clinch but can't.
Mamado makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A frustrated look appears on Horn's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Mamado manages to break the clinch.
Horn tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mamado swivels and escapes.

Mamado gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Mamado fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Chong Horn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wilson Mamado.
Mamado is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Horn is keeping busy.
Horn wants to get back to striking at distance but Mamado won't allow it.
Mamado is looking to take this one to the mat.
Mamado tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Horn wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mamado has him pressed against the cage.

Mamado ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mamado no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Horn wants to get up but he can't break Mamado's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Mamado escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Horn gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Mamado is working an open guard so Horn takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Horn looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mamado is fending him off so far but Horn persists. Nope, Mamado circles away and we're back to standing.
Mamado now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Horn fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Mamado closes the distance and clinches.
Mamado gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Horn.
Mamado lands a right hand.
Horn wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Horn drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mamado gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Horn wants to stall.

Mamado breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Mamado has closed the distance and engaged Horn in a clinch.

Mamado pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Mamado darts in and clinches Horn up against the cage.
Mamado works on Horn's body with a couple of short punches.
Horn fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Horn is breathing heavily.
Mamado displaying some good clinch control by pressing Horn up against the cage.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Mamado is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Mamado gets control of Horn's arms and successfully pulls guard. Mamado will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Horn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Horn tries to stand but Mamado is controlling from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Horn got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mamado has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Horn has managed to get both his arms back between Mamado's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mamado pulls Horn in close to prevent any damage.
Horn wants to get up but he can't break Mamado's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Mamado has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Horn should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Mamado has tightened it up now! Horn should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
