Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Button (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malakai Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Charlie Button! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Malakai Rex! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Button shoots in but no luck this time. Rex appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Button. Rex looks to land a combination but Button avoids it well. Rex throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Charlie Button has been cut. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Rex throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Button. Rex motions for Button to come forward. Rex throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Button shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rex defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charlie Button. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rex misses with a head kick.
Rex shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Rex stuffs the takedown. Rex throws a hook but Button blocks it. Button darts in looking for a takedown but Rex gets double underhooks and turns Button into the ropes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Button fails with a takedown attempt. An inside leg kick from Rex misses. Rex misses with a leg kick. Button misses with a takedown attempt - Rex sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Button drives through with a takedown into guard. Button is standing up over Rex. Rex looks to escape but Button dives into side control.
Rex tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Rex is trying to stand back up. Rex is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
That's two minutes gone in the round. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Button gets back to his feet - a bit of a stange decision given the position he was in.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Button has a takedown stuffed. Button tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rex swivels and escapes. Rex shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Button darts in looking for a takedown but Rex gets double underhooks and turns Button into the ropes. Rex throws out a counter right but Button avoids it with no problem. Rex slaps away a takedown attempt from Button, before circling back to the center of the mat. Rex throws a low kick, looking for Button's leg but Button calmly moves out of range. Rex throws a sloppy head kick and Button moves out of range easily. Rex lets loose with a powerful body kick. Button will feel that in the morning. Button will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Button looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rex is fending him off so far but Button persists. Nope, Rex circles away and we're back to standing. Rex tries to land a leg kick but Button saw it coming and moves away.
No luck for Button with that takedown attempt. Rex throws out a loose jab but Button uses good head movement to avoid it. Rex tries to bum rush Button with a series of wild strikes but Button uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Button closes the distance and clinches up with Rex, looking for a takedown. Button pushes Rex against the ropes but Rex circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Button looking to score a takedown here. Rex is defending well but Button drives through and ends up in Rex's guard. We've been hearing that Button has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rex wants to get back to his feet but Button is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Button is standing up over Rex. Rex looks to escape but Button dives into side control.
Rex bucks up and tries to throw Button off but instead Button has got his back! A bit of a pause in the action here. Button controlling the positon. Rex is trying to stand back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Malakai Rex dominated that round. The cut man is working on Charlie Button's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Button gets the takedown into side control. Rex is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Button is controlling him well. Rex bucks up and tries to throw Button off but instead Button has got his back! Rex is trying to stand back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Charlie Button overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Button controls the position. Rex wants to get back to his feet. Despite having Rex's back, Button says stuff this ground business - let's go for a knockout! Rex seems baffled but is happy to be out of the difficult position!
Malakai Rex is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Button looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rex is fending him off so far but Button persists. Nope, Rex circles away and we're back to standing. Nice takedown defense from Rex. No joy for Button on that attempt. Charlie Button seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Button fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rex avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charlie Button. That's going to take a lot out of him. Button gets a double leg takedown into Rex's guard. Rex wants to get back to his feet but Button passes into half guard.

Button dives in for a single leg takedown but Rex sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes. Rex misses the shot to the body. Button feinted with a counter takedown. Rex swinging wildly here.

A big right from Rex misses. Rex slaps away a takedown attempt from Button, before circling back to the center of the mat. Rex fails to land with a series of punches.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rex throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Button tries for a takedown but Rex sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Button darts in looking for a takedown but Rex gets double underhooks and turns Button into the ropes. Button scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Rex is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Malakai Rex showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Charlie Button's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Rex takes a swing at Button's ribcage but misses. Button dives in and grabs Rex's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rex pushes down on Button's head and hops out. Rex has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Rex throws a leg kick that misses. Button fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Button looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Rex tries to work over Button's front leg with a kick but Button checks it. Rex throws a lazy right hand but Button sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Button changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rex tries to avoid it but Button manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rex to the ground. Rex escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rex misses with a low kick as Button jumps back. Button fails with the takedown. Rex looks to land a body kick but Button moved away. Button dives in for a single leg takedown but Rex sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes. Rex throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Button. Charlie Button has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Button dives in for a single leg takedown but Rex sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes. Button takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Button shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Button shoots for a double leg takedown but Rex sprawls well. He's pushed Button's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Button tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rex defends well and Button ends up having to push Rex into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch. Button avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Button half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Button on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rex. Rex obviously looking to wear him down.

Button looks for the body kick but Rex saw that one coming. Rex walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Button checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
And that's the end of the fight! Malakai Rex comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Rex winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
