Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hal Santos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mack McKuchi!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKuchi tries to bum rush Santos with a series of wild strikes but Santos uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Santos clinches up against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on McKuchi's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Santos misses with a body punch.

Santos pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
McKuchi misses with the combination.
McKuchi throws a combination that misses

and Santos counters with a takedown into side control.
Santos scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at McKuchi to see if he's OK.
McKuchi is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Santos asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Santos tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Santos has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Santos is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. McKuchi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McKuchi takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
McKuchi wants to get back to his feet but Santos drags him back down.

Santos goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, McKuchi rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Santos's guard! Nice work there by McKuchi!
Santos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Santos is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
McKuchi wants to get up but he can't break Santos's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Santos is controlling McKuchi's posture.

Santos is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and McKuchi defends well.

Santos is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Santos pulls McKuchi in close to his closed guard and prevents McKuchi from doing any damage or advancing position.

Santos has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. McKuchi doesn't defend quickly enough and Santos has managed to lock this one up! Can McKuchi escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Santos on a fantastic submission victory.
