The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kimmel drives through with a takedown into guard.

Odom has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Kimmel is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Kimmel is trying to push Odom away but Odom has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Odom has one foot on Kimmel's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Kimmel is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Odom can't fight it off and eventually Kimmel manages to take the fight to the floor. Odom looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Odom manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Odom escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kimmel feints and as Odom raises his hands in defense, Kimmel changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

and Odom counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Kimmel dives in and scores a takedown into Odom's guard.

Odom's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Odom uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kimmel.
Kelvin Kimmel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Kimmel! Odom is out on his feet! Kimmel rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Odom is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Odom is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
