Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

11 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chuck Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Esteban Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Chris Dean and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sanchez has Silva pulled in close to control his posture.
Silva lands a couple of digs.
Silva controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
We've been hearing that Silva has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Silva is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sanchez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva is fighting to break Sanchez's control of his arms but Sanchez is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Silva is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Silva scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Silva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Silva drops back looking for a leg! Sanchez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sanchez manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Sanchez's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sanchez can do anything to dispel that myth.
