Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Hardin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nico Agosto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Agosto has chosen 3 days grace ~ animal i've become as his entrance music. Nico Agosto has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ethan Hardin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nico Agosto!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Agosto. Those never looked like landing.
Agosto swinging wildly here.
Agosto fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hardin with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Agosto to score with a decent uppercut.
Hardin closes the distance and clinches.
Agosto goes for a takedown attempt but Hardin pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hardin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hardin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Agosto pinned against the cage. Agosto gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Agosto misses with a wild combination.
Hardin went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Nico Agosto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Agosto feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hardins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Hardin moves into the clinch.
Hardin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hardin slips a jab and a cross from Agosto.
Hardin lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Agosto shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hardin's guard.
Hardin is pulling down on Agosto's head to control his posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hardin uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Hardin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Agosto tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hardin swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hardin shoots in looking for a takedown. Agosto tries to sprawl out of it but Hardin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Agosto manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Agosto closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hardin to the mat! Hardin manages to get full guard.
Hardin pushes Agosto off and scrambles back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Agosto misses with a series of wild punches.
Hardin manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Agosto on his heels. He'll look to pass Agosto's guard now, I'm sure.
Agosto looking for a sweep. Not yet Agosto, not yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hardin is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Agosto wants to sweep here but Hardin controlling him for the moment.
Hardin throwing strikes but missing.
Hardin has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Agosto is proving hard to escape from.

Hardin won't allow Agosto to get back to his feet.
Hardin is looking to stand up but Agosto won't let him.
Hardin stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Some wild striking there from Agosto.
Hardin takes a jab right on the kisser.
Agosto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hardin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hardin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Agosto tries to avoid it but Hardin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Agosto to the ground. Agosto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ethan Hardin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Agosto shoots in and drives through. Hardin sprawls well.
Hardin moves into the clinch successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Hardin for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Hardin changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Agosto fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Agosto keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hardin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Agosto as he jumps to the side.
Hardin is breathing heavily.
Hardin takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Agosto misses with a series of wild punches.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Nico Agosto will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Agosto lands with a hook. Hardin tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Agosto gets tackled into the cage by Hardin. Hardin maintains the clinch.
Agosto has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hardin after a bit of a struggle.

Agosto has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hardin to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Agosto is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hardin pulls down on the head and he's put Agosto to sleep! This one is all over!

In defeat, Nico Agosto stepped up to the mic, saying 'tonight he was the better man i have no excuses, there is alot more to me than this and i will come back better and stronger,may hell have mercy on the next person put in front of me '.
