Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kai throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kai looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Hyde rushes Kai and presses him up against the cage.

Kai is trying to push Hyde away but Hyde has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

and Hyde counters with a three punch combo that has Kai backing up. Kai nods at Hyde to acknowledge the strikes.

Kai has picked Hyde up - he's going for a ride! Kai dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Hyde has one foot on Kai's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hyde tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kai just stands there and leans against the cage.
