Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalski has managed to clinch.
Hagen leaning against his opponent.
Hagen managing to block the knees to the body from Kowalski.
Hagen is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Kowalski is keeping busy.
Kowalski gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Hagen tries to kick Kowalski off in order to stand up. Kowalski Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Kowalski is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hagen's shoulder. That is not cool.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hagen taking a bit of punishment here - Kowalski scoring with strikes.

Hagen is looking to get back to his feet here but Kowalski is keeping cool and he's managed to take Hagen's back.
Kowalski has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Hagen's body.
Kowalski keeps control of the position as Hagen tries to break free.
Hagen trying to control the hands but Kowalski won't let him.
Hagen tries to roll but Kowalski sticks to his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

What can Hagen do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Kowalski working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Hagen is doing well to defend. Kowalski seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Hagen is forced to tap and this one is over!
