Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Petey Flowers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasha Parlsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petey Flowers has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Petey Flowers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sasha Parlsh! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parlsh shoots in but Flowers avoids the takedown attempt easily. Flowers looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Parlsh gets in close and instigates a clinch. Flowers is trying to pull guard but Parlsh has him pressed against the cage. Flowers pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Parlsh moves in looking to clinch but Flowers pushes him off. Parlsh gets a double leg takedown into Flowers's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Parlsh's corner is telling him to maintain position. Parlsh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Flowers swivels though and keeps the full guard. Parlsh looking to sit in guard and control but Flowers gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Flowers slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Parlsh is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Parlsh trying to keep a closed guard but Flowers is proving a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Flowers pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Parlsh is keeping the position for now. Flowers working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Parlsh wants to stand and escape but Flowers is having none of it.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Flowers tries for a takedown but Parlsh circles away easily and Parlsh counters with a right hand to the body. Flowers really is a fat lump.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parlsh shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Parlsh showed some decent athleticism there. Flowers is looking for a sweep. Parlsh is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Parlsh is looking to take a break and control but Flowers is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Flowers is holding on to half guard well. Parlsh trying to control the action but Flowers is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parlsh seems to be looking for submissions.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Parlsh throws a series of punches but Flowers moves out of range. Flowers keeps the fight on the outside. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Parlsh scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Flowers avoids a punch combination nicely.

Sasha Parlsh dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Parlsh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Parlsh has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Parlsh rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Flowers moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Parlsh lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Parlsh darts in and clinches Flowers up against the cage. Flowers prevents a takedown attempt there.
Parlsh breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Flowers closes the distance and clinches up with Parlsh, looking for a takedown. Flowers pushes Parlsh against the cage but Parlsh circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Parlsh tries to clinch up. We've been informed that Parlsh has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Flowers scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Flowers drops his hands momentarily and Parlsh takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Parlsh is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Parlsh rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Flowers moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Parlsh misses with a two punch combination.
Flowers shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Flowers is standing up over Parlsh. Parlsh looks to escape but Flowers dives into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parlsh is pushing Flowers's head away, looking to escape. Flowers manages to hold on to the position though. Parlsh really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Flowers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Flowers is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Parlsh knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Flowers is looking to take a break and control but Parlsh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Flowers wants to stand but Parlsh is controlling his arm.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parlsh holds on to Flowers's head and controls the position momentarily. Flowers is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Parlsh is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The strikes coming from Flowers are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Flowers prevents Parlsh from escaping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Flowers swings around for an armbar but Parlsh sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Flowers's guard. Petey Flowers overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Parlsh wants to pass the guard but Flowers is keeping the position. Parlsh engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Flowers seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Parlsh wants to pass the guard but Flowers is keeping the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Parlsh is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sasha Parlsh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Flowers throws a left and a right that both miss

Danga de danga de dang - Parlsh scores with a four punch combination! Parlsh tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Flowers manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No joy there for Parlsh, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Horrible takedown attempt by Parlsh or perhaps it was just good defense by Flowers, which made it look bad.
That's one minute gone in the round. Left hook, right uppercut from Parlsh. Flowers pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Flowers misses with a takedown and Parlsh counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Parlsh fails with the takedown. Flowers instigates a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Flowers is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Parlsh pulls him back up using the underhooks. Parlsh works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Parlsh distracts Flowers with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Flowers looking to control.
Parlsh is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Flowers is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Flowers has escaped and now he's on top!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Flowers controlling from the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flowers looking to pass the guard. Parlsh keeping moving, preventing Flowers from controlling successfully. Flowers prevents Parlsh from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Parlsh keeping moving, preventing Flowers from controlling successfully. Parlsh is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Parlsh is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Flowers slips a straight right by Parlsh. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Parlsh shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Flowers pinned against the cage. Flowers gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And that's the end of the fight! Sasha Parlsh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Parlsh winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
