The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez leaves Stampede with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Stampede fails to land the takedown.
Martinez has his takedown stuffed
and Stampede connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Edmundo Martinez has been cut.
Stampede jabs at Martinez's body.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Stampede with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stampede goes for a takedown in the clinch but Martinez prevents it.

and Stampede counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Stampede drops Martinez with a straight right hand, right on the button! Stampede follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
