The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Golescu instigates a clinch.
Golescu slowing the pace effectively.
Abelha has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Golescu is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Abelha tries for a takedown but Golescu manages to get underhooks.

Abelha has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Golescu avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Golescu's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Golescu fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Abelha, pushing him back against the cage.

Abelha is trying to trip Golescu. He has hold of a leg but Golescu is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Abelha persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Golescu is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Abelha dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Abelha tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Abelha wants to lay and pray for a moment but Golescu keeps working.
Golescu is wriggling around trying to escape but Abelha has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! Golescu taps out and Abelha picks up the big win! Great work there by Abelha!
