Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zeb Mark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crazy Six (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zeb Mark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Crazy Six!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Mark misses.
Six misses with a double jab.
Mark lands a jab to Six's midsection.
Six displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mark throws out the jab.
Six keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Six keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mark.
Mark lands with a cross.
Mark digs a good hook to Six's body.
Zeb Mark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Six throws a jab but it's blocked by Mark.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Six. Mark shrugs it off though.
Mark changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Six misses with a looping right.
Six throws a body shot but no joy.
Six fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Mark checks it well.
Mark was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Six feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Marks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Six looks to score with a jab to the body but Mark is just out of range.
Six uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mark.
Six appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Mark throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mark closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Six looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

The fighters circling - Six throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

and Six counters with a thumping low kick.
Six comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mark takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Six lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Mark connects with a looping right hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Zeb Mark will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Six takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Mark throws a hook but Six avoids it easily.
Six moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Six throws a sloppy head kick and Mark moves out of range easily.
Six misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mark.
Six stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Zeb Mark is winning the standup battle so far.
Mark lands a head shot.
Six takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Mark lands a nice hook to Six's body. Six takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Mark lunges at Six with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Six's hand.
Mark scores with a one two! Six had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Six fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mark has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Mark takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Mark rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Six counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Six throws a lazy right hand but Mark sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Six throws a nice inside leg kick.
Six takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Zeb Mark will probably get the nod.

Six uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mark.
Six feints a jab promting Mark to slip. Six then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Mark slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

No joy there for Mark, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mark swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Good leg kick by Six there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Mark chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Six can pounce on him.

Mark throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Six sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Six tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mark was well out of range. Poor timing from Six.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Mark has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Six.

Crazy Six comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
