Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Blake Rittier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Batista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Blake Rittier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anderson Batista! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Batista scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Rittier is trying to improve his position. Batista working away. Rittier is not content to let Batista control the position. You can see the frustration on Rittier's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Rittier manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Batista can do anything to dispel that myth. Rittier trying to control the action but Batista is working from the bottom. Rittier slips a nice elbow through Batista's hands, connecting with Batista's forehead. Rittier missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Batista wants to control but Rittier is keeping busy.
Rittier is tying to control. Batista wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Batista missing with punches from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rittier looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Batista with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Batista is trying to get back to full guard. Rittier will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Rittier wants to lay and pray for a moment but Batista keeps working. Batista is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Rittier scores with a couple of nice shots. Rittier decides to stand and escape the position. Batista gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Batista tightens his grip and picks Rittier up, before dumping him to the ground. Rittier manages to land in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Batista trying to control but Rittier is working from the bottom. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rittier is on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rittier keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Batista's head. Batista keeping moving, preventing Rittier from controlling successfully. Rittier slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rittier lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Rittier is working to tighten is grip on Batista's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Batista has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Rittier is really squeezing tight and eventually Batista passes out! Rittier breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
