Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Andrew Ellis has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Andrew Ellis seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andrew Ellis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mickey Sullivan! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ellis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Ellis is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Ellis is in close to Sullivan's body, working some short punches and elbows. Ellis trying to control but Sullivan is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ellis passes Sullivan's left leg - he's now in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ellis looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sullivan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ellis lands a nice short elbow. Sullivan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ellis is working away from the top position though. Ground and pound from Ellis. Sullivan trying to hold on to Ellis's head to control him but Ellis postures up.

Ellis is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Sullivan actively working from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sullivan looking for submissions off his back. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ellis lands a nice short elbow. Sullivan actively working from the bottom here. Sullivan looks winded! Sullivan has hold of Ellis's hands but Ellis slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Ellis uses his free foot to push down on Sullivan's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sullivan. Ellis looking to secure an arm triangle but Sullivan defends it well. Ellis looking to control but Sullivan is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Sullivan is bucking up trying to escape but Ellis cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Sullivan is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ellis looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Sullivan covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
