Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raymundo Sellers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piet Kriel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Raymundo Sellers has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Raymundo Sellers seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Raymundo Sellers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Piet Kriel! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kriel keeps the fight on the outside. Kriel is looking for the big counter here. Kriel darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Sellers has one foot on Kriel's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Sellers wants to clinch. Kriel closes the distance and clinches. Kriel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kriel throws a head kick but Sellers moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kriel moves into the clinch. Sellers tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kriel's elbow. Kriel breaks from the clinch.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sellers lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kriel has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kriel and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Sellers wants to clinch up but Kriel keeps it at a distance. Kriel shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sellers manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Sellers is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Kriel has Sellers pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kriel pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Sellers tumbling to the mat - Kriel dives into Sellers's guard. Sellers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kriel on the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kriel landing with the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kriel engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Kriel passes easily into side control. Nice work. Kriel lands a nice forearm strike. Sellers manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Kriel makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kriel. Kriel is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sellers stands and steps away. Kriel gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Kriel closes the distance and pushes Sellers back into the cage. Sellers jumps guard but Kriel turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Kriel lands a shoulder strike. Sellers misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kriel.
Kriel has Sellers pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kriel pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Sellers tumbling to the mat - Kriel dives into Sellers's guard. Kriel looking to pass the guard. Kriel has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sellers is proving hard to escape from.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kriel is pushing down on Sellers's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sellers is fighting to maintain full guard but Kriel has managed to sneak the leg through. Sellers wants to sweep but Kriel has passed to side control! Sellers is being controlled here. Kriel tries to stand but Sellers is controlling his head. Kriel looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Sellers is avoiding damage well.
Kriel controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kriel wants to stand but Sellers has his arm trapped. Sellers tries to buck Kriel off but Kriel is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Piet Kriel dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Sellers tries to clinch but Kriel is having none of it. Piet Kriel is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kriel fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sellers sprawls well initially but Kriel persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Sellers tries to kick Kriel off in order to stand up. Kriel Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Kriel landing a few strikes. Kriel in side control, just content to control the action for now. Piet Kriel has got the better of the ground game so far. Kriel lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Sellers down.
Sellers is rocked! Kriel remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kriel advances to full mount. Sellers is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sellers is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Kriel locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Sellers is forced to tap!
