Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stuart Mcfadden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Art Crocker! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Lou da Vinci and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcfadden displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Crocker. Crocker dives in and grabs Mcfadden's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mcfadden pushes down on Crocker's head and hops out. Crocker will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Stuart Mcfadden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Art Crocker. Mcfadden stuffs the takedown attempt from Crocker. Crocker gets slowly back to his feet. Crocker fails with a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crocker takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcfadden throws a sloppy head kick and Crocker moves out of range easily. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Mcfadden, right into the meat.
Mcfadden tries to sprawl but Crocker drives through with a takedown into half guard. Mcfadden pushes Crocker off but Crocker dives into side control.
Crocker remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Mcfadden is looking to regain half guard here but Crocker keeps moving and retains side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcfadden could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Crocker takes a little break here. Mcfadden wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Mcfadden tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Crocker wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Mcfadden misses with an elbow from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Mcfadden throws a nice head kick!
Crocker walks into a jab. Crocker tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mcfadden sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Crocker somewhat. Crocker drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crocker missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Mcfadden working for a triangle but Crocker defends it easily.
Crocker distracts Mcfadden with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Crocker stays in close to Mcfadden's body and controls the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stuart Mcfadden dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Crocker with a lazy takedown attempt and Mcfadden counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Crocker takes a kick to the side of the head. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Crocker. Mcfadden half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Mcfadden throws a leg kick but Crocker moved away. Mcfadden misses with a jab, cross combination.
Crocker tries for a takedown but Mcfadden sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Stuart Mcfadden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Art Crocker. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mcfadden fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Crocker manages to avoid it. Crocker wants to counter with a clinch but Mcfadden pushes him away. Mcfadden closes the distance and clinches. Crocker gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Mcfadden is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Crocker can do to turn this around?
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcfadden wants to stand up but Crocker is controlling him. Crocker controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Mcfadden working for submissions but it's allowed Crocker to get to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Crocker keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Mcfadden strikes from the bottom but Crocker uses the opportunity to move to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Mcfadden is being controlled here. Crocker tries for a kimura but Mcfadden is defending well. Mcfadden is looking to regain half guard here but Crocker keeps moving and retains side control. The referee asks Crocker politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Crocker prefers to stall for the moment though. Mcfadden manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crocker working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Mcfadden misses with some strikes from the bottom.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Mcfadden scores with a jab. Stuart Mcfadden is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. No luck with that takedown attempt from Crocker. Crocker is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mcfadden lands a nice leg kick that just misses Crocker's sensitive parts. Mcfadden looking to land some kicks to the body here.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Crocker wants a takedown.
Crocker is looking for a takedown. Crocker has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mcfadden is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Crocker is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Mcfadden gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Mcfadden jumps into guard, dragging Crocker to the mat.
Art Crocker has got the better of the ground game so far. Mcfadden trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stuart Mcfadden dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

The fight moves into the clinch position. Crocker is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Mcfadden is defending well. Crocker gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Crocker trying to control the pace. Mcfadden throws a strike from the bottom but Crocker passes into side control!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A lull in the action here as Crocker stalls from top position. Crocker takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcfadden manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Crocker avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Mcfadden. Mcfadden is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Crocker is just riding it out for now. Mcfadden eventually gives up the hold. Mcfadden seems to be working for a kimura but Crocker defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcfadden throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Crocker tries to get to full guard but Mcfadden has control of the leg. Crocker gets back to full guard.
Mcfadden throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Crocker works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Crocker lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Mcfadden is trying to keep Crocker in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crocker sitting in guard, not really doing much. Mcfadden trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Art Crocker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Crocker sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Crocker makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Crocker not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Crocker fails with the takedown.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Art Crocker. I think Mcfadden has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
