Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Agustin Carlson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brue Evrette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brue Evrette has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Agustin Carlson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Agustin Carlson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brue Evrette!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Evrette closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Evrette keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Carlson's efforts to push away.

Carlson drags the fight down to the ground.

Carlson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Evrette has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Evrette drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Carlson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Evrette has Carlson in his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carlson stands and steps away. Evrette gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Evrette manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Carlson on his heels. He'll look to pass Carlson's guard now, I'm sure.

Carlson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Evrette defends it easily.
Carlson wants to get back to his feet but Evrette is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Carlson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Evrette can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Carlson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Evrette closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Carlson to the mat! Carlson manages to get full guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Carlson manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Carlson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Carlson jumps guard but Evrette stands there with Carlson around his waist. Carlson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Carlson scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Evrette manages to mount him!
Poor strikes thrown by Evrette there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Evrette shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Carlson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Carlson enables Evrette to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Carlson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Evrette wants to pass the guard but Carlson is keeping the position.
Evrette engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Evrette postures up in Carlson's guard and throws a big left but Carlson blocks it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Evrette stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Evrette looks to land a combination. Carlson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Evrette lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Evrette is breathing heavily.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brue Evrette showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Carlson has hold of one of Evrette's legs. Evrette is fighting the takedown attempt but Carlson gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Agustin Carlson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Evrette throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Carlson was covering up waiting for the punch and Evrette finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Evrette gets to his feet - Carlson follows without any prompting.

Evrette looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Evrette is looking to take a break and control but Carlson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Evrette throws a strike aimed at the side of Carlson's head but Carlson avoids it well.

Evrette goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Carlson has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Evrette but great work by Carlson.

Carlson decides to stand back up. Carlson steps back and let's Evrette get back to his feet.
Evrette leaves Carlson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Agustin Carlson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Brue Evrette is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Carlson lands with a few short shots to the body.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Brue Evrette.
I've got Evrette winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
