The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Emerlong gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows McCallum to score an easy takedown into full guard.
McCallum looking to sit in guard and control but Emerlong gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Emerlong decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
A big right from Emerlong misses.
McCallum changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Emerlong scores with a head kick.

It looks like Mike McCallum has been cut.
McCallum slips under a jab from Emerlong.
McCallum throwing a counter right hand but Emerlong manages to avoid it.
McCallum dodges the punch combination from Emerlong.
McCallum keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McCallum bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Emerlong misses with a straight right.
McCallum blocks a head kick by Emerlong.
McCallum appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McCallum swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
McCallum takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Emerlong throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McCallum fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Emerlong misses with a shot to the body
and McCallum counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Whack! Emerlong lands a heavy head kick that drops McCallum. The ref tackles Emerlong to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because McCallum was done.
