Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antero Tikkanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adrian Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Antero Tikkanen! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jorge Garcia and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee goes for a double leg but Tikkanen avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tikkanen continues to drive forward. Tikkanen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Lee explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Lee fails with a takedown attempt. Lee tries to clinch there but Tikkanen circles away.
Tikkanen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lee was covering up waiting for the punch and Tikkanen finishes the takedown easily into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tikkanen trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tikkanen postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee keeping full guard, as Tikkanen tries to pass. Lee trying to control the position.
Lee seems keen to control Tikkanen's posture. Tikkanen postures up and lands a big shot to Lee's brow. Lee is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tikkanen is aware though and is defending well. Tikkanen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lee has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Tikkanen trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tikkanen throws a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Tikkanen makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Lee is trying to control the position but Tikkanen postures up. Tikkanen with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Tikkanen trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom. Tikkanen slips nicely into half guard. Tikkanen working over Lee with some ground and pound. Lee looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Tikkanen wants to control but Lee is keeping him busy. Tikkanen landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tikkanen working the head and body with strikes. Lee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tikkanen is working away from the top position though. Lee is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Tikkanen scores with a couple of nice shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tikkanen landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Tikkanen wants to free his trapped foot but Lee is holding on for dear life with his legs. Tikkanen working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Nice strikes from Tikkanen there. Tikkanen slips a nice elbow through Lee's hands, connecting with Lee's forehead. Tikkanen trying to control the action but Lee is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tikkanen takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Lee is rocked! Lee has hold of Tikkanen's hands but Tikkanen slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Oh Lee is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Tikkanen is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Lee is hurt! He's hurt bad - Tikkanen fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Lee from any more punishment! Congratulations to Tikkanen! Great finish!
