Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Motson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luck Chiddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Chiddell's choice of entrance music: Shmurda Bobby. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Motson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luck Chiddell! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Chiddell misses its intended target. Motson is looking to counter the offense by Chiddell and move into the clinch. Luck Chiddell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chiddell scores with a nice head shot. Motson ducks under a wild hook from Chiddell. Chiddell takes a swing at Motson's ribcage but misses. Motson tries to clinch there but Chiddell circles away.

It looks like John Motson has been cut. Motson has closed the distance and engaged Chiddell in a clinch.
Chiddell looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Chiddell creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Chiddell breaks the clinch.
Chiddell wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. A swing and a miss from Chiddell. Motson tries to counter by clinching up but Chiddell breaks away and moves out of range. Chiddell thuds a left hand into Motson's body. Chiddell pushes Motson up against the cage in a clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chiddell lands a body shot in the clinch.

Chiddell digs a right hand underneath Motson's ribcage. Motson let out a lung full of air as it connected. Motson is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chiddell makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Chiddell breaks from the clinch.

Motson wants to clinch but Chiddell slips to the side enabling Chiddell to counter with a crisp jab. Motson misses with a wild combination.
Motson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chiddell swats him away and circles back towards the center. Motson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Chiddell connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Motson scrambles back to his feet. Chiddell works the jab nicely. Chiddell cracks Motson with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Motson tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Chiddell pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Motson is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luck Chiddell! Luck Chiddell spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
