Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klashnikov throws a combination that misses
and Peterson counters with a shoot takedown. Klashnikov fights it but they end up in guard.
Peterson controls from within his opponent's guard.
Peterson passes Klashnikov's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Peterson is keen to just control but Klashnikov is a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Peterson not doing much here.
Klashnikov is trying to stand up here but Peterson is controlling him well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Klashnikov kicks off Peterson and gets to his feet.
Klashnikov digs a good body shot into Peterson's ribs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Peterson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Klashnikov tries to avoid it but Peterson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Klashnikov to the ground. Klashnikov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Klashnikov showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Peterson.
Klashnikov dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Oooooh!!! Klashnikov has knocked Peterson down with a huge combo! Klashnikov steps away and waves a wobbly Peterson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Peterson is breathing heavily.
Klashnikov cracks Peterson's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Peterson slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Klashnikov can do further damage! This one is done, son!
