Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aleksander Baris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bill Morris will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aleksander Baris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bill Morris!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baris decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Baris drops an elbow to the side of Morris's head.
Morris tries to get to full guard but Baris has control of the leg.
Baris has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We've been hearing that Baris has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Morris is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Morris should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Baris takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baris's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Baris is taking a breather. Morris says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Baris seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Morris for as long as he can get away with.
Baris thows a huge punch but Morris dodges it nicely.

Baris shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Baris showed some decent athleticism there.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The strikes coming from Baris are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Baris postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Baris cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Baris takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

BOOM! Baris connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Morris is still in real trouble! Can Baris finish him?

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Baris is stinking the place up with his stalling.
Aleksander Baris overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Baris cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Baris unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Morris wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Baris celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aleksander Baris!
An out of breath Aleksander Baris thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
