The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernardo misses with a straight right.
Weffart is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Bernardo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Weffart is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bernardo pulls his head out easily.
Weffart is refusing to be controlled, as Bernardo sits in half guard.
Weffart connecting with a few gentle strikes.
Bernardo throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Weffart has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Bernardo. Oh but Weffart has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Bernardo goes limp - he's gone! Weffart jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
