The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogelio has his takedown stuffed

and Leon holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Leon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rogelio moves in looking to clinch but Leon pushes him off.
Leon seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Leon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Rogelio tries to score a power double leg takedown but Leon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rogelio somewhat.
Rogelio wants to clinch but Leon slips to the side
and Leon counters with a nice uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Leon closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Rogelio's guard.
Leon is standing up over Rogelio. Rogelio looks to escape but Leon dives into side control.

Rogelio wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Leon has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Rogelio's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Rogelio is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Leon!
