Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barney Stokes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Court (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Court has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Barney Stokes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, David Court! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stokes pushes Court up against the cage in a clinch. Stokes stalling.
Stokes decides to pull guard. Court stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stokes swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stokes is on top in guard.
Stokes could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Stokes seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Stokes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stokes is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Stokes thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Stokes postures up and lands a big shot to Court's brow. Court looks winded! Stokes content to stall in guard here. Stokes lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Stokes slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Stokes distracts Court with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Stokes looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Stokes's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Court wants to sweep but no luck. Stokes with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stokes looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Court fails to land with a series of punches.
Stokes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Stokes throws a sloppy head kick and Court moves out of range easily. A momentary lapse in concentration from Stokes enables Court to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Stokes manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Stokes pushes Court off and scrambles back to his feet.
Stokes forces Court back against the cage and clinches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stokes decides to pull guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stokes is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Stokes working over Court with some ground and pound. Court looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Stokes perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stokes seems to be working for a kimura but Court defends the submission attempt. Stokes has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Well, if Stokes is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Barney Stokes dominated that round. The cut man is working on Barney Stokes's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Stokes jabs at Court's body. Court feints and as Stokes raises his hands in defense, Court changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Stokes is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Stokes is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Court must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stokes is looking to stand up but Court isn't so interested in that idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Court wants to control from the top but Stokes keeps moving. Court trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Stokes pulls Court in close to prevent any damage. Stokes looking to hit a scissor sweep but Court is one step ahead there. Stokes has his hands on Court's head, controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Stokes is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Stokes jumps guard.
Stokes looking for a sweep. Not yet Stokes, not yet. Stokes is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Stokes stalling.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Court wants to get back to full guard. Still in half guard, Stokes seems content to control. Court wants to control but Stokes is keeping busy and won't allow it. Court is looking to improve his position.
Stokes has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Court defend it? Stokes steps over the head and cranks it - Court is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Stokes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Barney Stokes!
