Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peter Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Tinkl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Peter Green! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Billy Tinkl! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tinkl shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Green but Green pushes him off and we're back to square one. Green misses the body punch and Tinkl counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Green trying to control from the bottom.
Tinkl is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Tinkl is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Green doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tinkl. Green is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at ~T~ Troid - Gym, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Green controlling the position well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tinkl prevents Green from improving his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tinkl wants to work for an arm triangle but Green is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Green is pressing down on Tinkl's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Tinkl trying to control but Green is working from the bottom. Tinkl stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Green swivels though and keeps the full guard. Green bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tinkl's guard. Green lands a couple of elbows. Green sitting in guard here, content to control. Tinkl looking to hit a scissor sweep but Green is one step ahead there. Green is in close to Tinkl's body, working some short punches and elbows. Green postures up in Tinkl's guard and throws a big left but Tinkl blocks it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tinkl accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Green is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Tinkl working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Green looking for a sweep. Not yet Green, not yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Green keeping moving, preventing Tinkl from controlling successfully.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Tinkl tries to close the distance and clinch but Green swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Tinkl has his takedown stuffed and Green counters with a lovely straight right hand! Tinkl dodges the punch combination from Green.
Green closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Tinkl throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tinkl manages to get back to half guard. Tinkl makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Tinkl. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tinkl is on top in guard.

A close round but Billy Tinkl will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Green is defended easily by Tinkl. Tinkl shoots in but Green avoids the takedown attempt easily. Green closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Green is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Tinkl gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Green has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Tinkl regains guard immediately. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tinkl has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Green can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Green showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Green scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Peter Green dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Oh but he could get punished here because Tinkl has locked up a guillotine! Tinkl's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Green is holding on here and Tinkl must be using up a lot of energy. Green has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Tinkl gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
