The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plouman closes the distance and clinches up with Tauer, looking for a takedown. Plouman pushes Tauer against the cage but Tauer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A punch combination from Tauer misses.
Plouman darts in looking for a takedown but Tauer gets double underhooks and turns Plouman into the cage.
Plouman checks the leg kick nicely there.
And Plouman tries to counter it with a takedown but Tauer pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Tauer lands an overhand right.
Plouman takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Plouman is rocked!
It looks like Chael Plouman has been cut.
Tauer tries to bum rush Plouman with a series of wild strikes but Plouman uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Plouman is still on wobbly legs! Can Tauer finish him?
Tauer moves away from the strike by Plouman.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Plouman.
Max Tauer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chael Plouman.
Tauer throws an overhand right that has Plouman reeling! Tauer follows up with more punches and Plouman is out cold! This one is all over!
