The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Staal counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Mark Morgan has been cut.
A slow jab from Morgan misses its intended target.
Staal uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Morgan.
It appears Staal was looking to counter with a kick there.
Morgan misses with a lunging right hand
and Staal counters with a body kick.
Morgan throws a body shot but no joy.
Staal half committed to a counter leg kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Staal.
Morgan on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Morgan on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Staal slips under a jab.
Staal lands a left and a right that send Morgan crashing to the mat, dazed. Staal thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Morgan is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Staal circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Morgan tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Staal wins by KO!
