Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kato Masaishii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Vladimirovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vladimirovich lands a jab to the head.
It looks like Kato Masaishii has been cut.
Masaishii walks into a straight right hand from Vladimirovich.
Vladimirovich scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Vladimirovich has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Masaishii is landing a low percentage of strikes.
A cross from Vladimirovich lands.
Vladimirovich throws a right hand that Masaishii ducks under and follows up with a left that Masaishii also avoids with ease.
Masaishii drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Vladimirovich closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Masaishii's guard.

Masaishii has Vladimirovich pulled in close to control his posture.

Masaishii seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Vladimirovich does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Masaishii wants to work for an arm triangle but Vladimirovich is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Masaishii is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Vladimirovich is just riding it out for now. Masaishii eventually gives up the hold.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vladimirovich changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Masaishii tries to avoid it but Vladimirovich manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Masaishii to the ground. Masaishii escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Masaishii ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vladimirovich moves away.
Vladimirovich drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Masaishii defends it well.

Vladimirovich throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Masaishii's waist but Masaishii gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vladimirovich off to one side.
Masaishii attempts a counter takedown but Vladimirovich avoids it well and moves away.
Masaishii ducks right into an uppercut from Vladimirovich.

Kato Masaishii's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Masaishii takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Vladimirovich drops Masaishii with a right and a left! Vladimirovich comes rushing in but Masaishii regains his composure and manages to keep Vladimirovich in guard.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kato Masaishii's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
