The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aderson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - McSteamy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Aderson.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aderson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
McSteamy bucks up and tries to throw Aderson off but instead Aderson has got his back!
Aderson is looking to control McSteamy but McSteamy is wriggling around and keeping busy.
McSteamy tries to escape the position.

Aderson has good solid back control here.
I really don't envy McSteamy right now.
McSteamy is trying to get back to his feet but Aderson has full control of the position and if anything, McSteamy has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Aderson is hanging on to McSteamy's back as he tries to escape.
McSteamy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Aderson cracks McSteamy with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing McSteamy from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
McSteamy tries to roll but Aderson sticks to his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
McSteamy grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Aderson is looking to finish with some ground and pound!
Aderson is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. McSteamy has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Aderson has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! McSteamy taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Aderson doesn't care though - he's delighted!
