Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Richard Nixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nixon comes into the arena with The Upsetters - Dread Lion blaring out of the sound system. Clark has chosen All Fired Up as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Nixon connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Clark throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nixon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nixon throws a low kick but Clark moves out of range easily.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Clark, right into the meat.
Nixon tries to land a front kick but Clark steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Clark pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nixon connects with a looping right hand.
A clash of legs there as Nixon blocks the low kick.
Clark scores with a punch to the head.
Clark dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nixon on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Clark. Clark obviously looking to wear him down.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nixon's jab looks to have found its range, popping Clark under the eye.
Nixon throws a lazy right hand but Clark sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Nixon feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Nixon attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Clark uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

A little jabbing left from Clark on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

and Clark counters with a head kick that drops Nixon to the mat! Nixon scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Despite the aggression on Clark's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
A slapping leg kick lands for Nixon.
Nixon throws a low kick but it's checked well by Clark.
Nixon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Clark was well out of range. Poor timing from Nixon.

Nixon will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Clark replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Nixon blocks it well.

and Nixon makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Nixon takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Nixon takes one on the button.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Nixon, as that shot connected.
Clark has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nixon gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Clark counters with a huge right that knocks Nixon out cold! Clark is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
