Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Guido Gloom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Edinger Nucleus!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nucleus throws a sloppy head kick and Gloom moves out of range easily.
Gloom feinted with a counter takedown.
Gloom takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Gloom throws a quick inside leg kick.
Gloom throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Edinger Nucleus has been cut.
Nucleus throws a head kick but Gloom moves out of range.

Despite the aggression on Nucleus's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Nucleus throws a hook to the side of Gloom's head but Gloom sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Nucleus.

Gloom tries to land a leg kick but Nucleus saw it coming and moves away.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nucleus is on top in guard.

Gloom is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Gloom is looking for a triangle but Nucleus pushes his legs off easily.

Gloom working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nucleus doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nucleus manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Nucleus avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Nucleus not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gloom is on top in guard.

Nucleus wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Gloom is now in half guard.
Gloom thows a huge punch but Nucleus dodges it nicely.

That was a close round but I would say that Guido Gloom will probably get the nod.

Gloom throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Nucleus rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gloom moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Edinger Nucleus seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Nucleus throws a push kick but Gloom slaps the foot to one side.
Nucleus tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Nucleus fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gloom manages to avoid it.

Nucleus keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gloom.
Gloom sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Guido Gloom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nucleus tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gloom was well out of range. Poor timing from Nucleus.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nucleus lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gloom circles away quickly and effectively.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nucleus lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Gloom goes down and covers up as Nucleus starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
