Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Barack Obama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bee Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Barack Obama has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Barack Obama! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bee Jay! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jay lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Obama fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jay manages to avoid it. Obama lands a nice hook to Jay's body. Jay takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Obama misses with a combination
and Jay decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Obama's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Obama looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Jay passes into half guard.
Obama tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Jay has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Obama tries to reverse the position but Jay maintains control. Jay trying to control but Obama is having none of it. Obama is looking to get to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jay wants to take his opponent's back but Obama doesn't allow it. Jay controlling the pace for now. Obama wants to hold on but Jay pushes him away. Obama is working to get back to half guard.
Obama tries to hold on but Jay postures up. Jay takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Obama is desperately trying to improve his position but Jay has a good base and remains in mount. Jay controlling the position easily from mount. Jay trying to control but he's not successful this time. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jay content just to control the position here. Obama is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jay wants to control the pace but Obama is squirming around nicely. Obama tries to get back to half guard but can't. Obama is working hard here to advance position. Jay trying to control but Obama is having none of it. Jay sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Obama is squirming around, avoiding Jay's attempts to control the action. Obama wants to control but Jay is having none of it. Obama is looking to get to half guard. Jay controlling his opponent. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jay trying to control but Obama is having none of it. Jay tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bee Jay dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Obama moves into range and clinches up with Jay. Obama tries a body shot but Jay blocks it.
A head punch on the inside from Obama fails to land. Obama wants to get back to striking at distance but Jay won't allow it.
Obama tries to break the clinch but Jay is controlling the position. I was talking to Obama's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Jay wants a takedown but no success here.
A frustrated look appears on Obama's face as he tries to break the clinch. Jay doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Obama lands a body shot. Obama tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Jay has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Obama wants to break the clinch but can't.
Obama misses with some punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Obama struggles to land a body shot inside as Jay controls his hands.

Jay tries to land knees in the clinch but Obama avoids the damage to the body. Obama misses with a short punch on the inside. Obama manages to break the clinch.
Jay closes the distance and clinches up with Obama, looking for a takedown. Jay pushes Obama against the cage but Obama circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. The fight stays on the outside here - Jay looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Obama tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jay was well out of range. Poor timing from Obama. Nice takedown defense from Obama. No joy for Jay on that attempt. Barack Obama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bee Jay. Jay shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Obama defends it nicely. Jay wants to slow Obama down by chopping away at his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jay takes the fight into the clinch. Obama tries to work over Jay's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Jay gets a trip takedown into half guard. Jay prevents Obama from improving his position. Obama actively working from the bottom here. Obama is refusing to be controlled, as Jay sits in half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jay wants to free his trapped foot but Obama is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jay is keen to just control but Obama is a slippery customer. Obama tries to roll over but Jay keeps him under control. Obama has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jay is working away from the top position though. Jay wants to take a breather but Obama is having none of it. Jay is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Obama tries to get to full guard but Jay has control of the leg. Jay is keen to just control but Obama is a slippery customer.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Obama lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Bee Jay has been cut. Obama takes a swing at Jay's ribcage but misses. Jay shoots and misses and Obama counters with a two punch combo. Obama tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jay paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jay wants to counter with a clinch but Obama pushes him away. Obama tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jay manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jay shoots for a takedown but Obama saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jay is looking to clinch but Obama is avoiding it.
Jay ducks right into an uppercut from Obama. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Barack Obama dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Bee Jay's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Jay enables Obama to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jay manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Obama trying to control but Jay is working from the bottom. Jay wants to sweep but no luck. Jay managing to control the position. Jay trying to keep a closed guard but Obama is proving a slippery customer.
Jay looking to hit a scissor sweep but Obama is one step ahead there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Obama trying to control the position from guard on top but Jay is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Obama forces his way into half guard. Jay moves into full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jay keeping moving, preventing Obama from controlling successfully. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Obama sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jay's guard. Jay is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Obama's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Obama's back! Obama staying busy and making it hard for Jay to control. Jay is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Obama is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Obama tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Obama tries to lock up and control but Jay gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jay controlling from mount. Obama is squirming around, avoiding Jay's attempts to control the action. Obama is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Jay has taken his back.
Obama is trying to break free.
Jay is riding his opponent, not letting Obama buck him off. Jay gets his hands free as Obama looks to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Obama is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Jay gets his way!
Obama breaks Jay's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Our spies down at at Ultimate MMA Training Center inform us that Jay has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Obama trying to control but Jay is working from the bottom. Obama seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Obama sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Barack Obama. I think Obama has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
