Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alfred Hitscock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Jone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hitscock comes to the cage accompanied by My Drinking Problem. Jone has chosen If you smell! as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alfred Hitscock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Jone! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jone gets off balance looking for a body kick and Hitscock makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Hitscock looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Jone moves out of range as Hitscock strikes. Jone connects with a single shot there. Jone tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Jone scores with a shot to the body.
Jone throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Hitscock throwing a counter right hand but Jone manages to avoid it. Hitscock lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Hitscock misses with a wild body shot. Jone takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Hitscock misses with a low kick.
Hitscock throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Jone's coach down at Bruize Brothers was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Jone's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. A swing and a miss from Hitscock. Jone shapes to counter with a head kick. Jone throws a quick inside leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hitscock connects with a looping right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hitscock connects with an inside leg kick. A looping hook to the body misses from Hitscock. Jone does a little dance to reset his feet. Jone swings away with a leg kick that misses. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jone. Hitscock throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jone sees it coming and avoids it easily. A leg kick checked by Jone. Hitscock throws a jab when Jone was well out of range. Jone on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Jone uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hitscock.
Hitscock lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Hitscock throws a nice outside leg kick. Hitscock dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jone. That did some damage! Jone moves out of range of the strikes. Jone unleashes a big counter combination but Hitscock bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Hitscock tries to move into range but Jone moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A punch lands to the side of Hitscock 's head but he takes it in his stride. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hitscock throws a lazy uppercut
and Jone counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hitscock clobbers Jone with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Jone uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hitscock.
Hitscock missing with a left hand there. Jone was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Jone fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hitscock has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Jone dips down and scores with a jab to the body. An inside leg kick from Hitscock misses. Jone throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Alfred Hitscock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jone tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hitscock was well out of range. Poor timing from Jone. Hitscock misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jone.
Hitscock works the jab nicely. Hitscock lands a head shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hitscock slips a jab from Jone. Hitscock connects with a single shot there. Jone scores with a hook to the body. Hitscock takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Jone tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Hitscock is able to avoid easily. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jone, right into the meat.
Hitscock misses with a hook. Jone jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hitscock wants to land a leg kick but Jone is out of range. Hitscock jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hitscock moves out of range as Jone strikes. Jone shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Hitscock does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Hitscock scores with a punch to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed right hand from Hitscock misses the target. Jone avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Hitscock throws a shot from downtown. Jone moves away and avoids it. Hitscock checks a low kick from Jone. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jone lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Jone throws a half hearted mid kick. A little feinted left hand from Hitscock on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Jone fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Hitscock missing with a left hand there. Jone was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Jone takes a body punch but keeps moving. Hitscock bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Hitscock rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jone counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hitscock throws a head kick that Jone semi-blocks.
Jone throws a big shot that misses. Jone waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hitscock. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alfred Hitscock dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Hitscock lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Hitscock avoids the body shot from Jone.
Hitscock throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Jone might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Hitscock has got the better of the exchanges. Jone comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Hitscock misses with a wild body shot. Hitscock throws a quick inside leg kick. Hitscock walks into a left hand. Hitscock misses with a kick to the body letting Jone counter with a right hand. Jone misses the shot to the body. Hitscock was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hitscock.
A decent looking cross lands there for Hitscock. Hitscock is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jone can do to turn this around? The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hitscock keeps Jone at a distance using the push kick. Hitscock waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jone.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jone lands a jab to the head.
Hitscock throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Jone counter with a right hand. Hitscock misses with a kick to the body and Jone counters with a slapping leg kick. A slapping leg kick lands for Hitscock.
Jone has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Jone misses with a looping left. Jone throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Hitscock connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jone takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Hitscock ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Jone connects with a leg kick. Hitscock looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Jone throws out a loose jab but Hitscock uses good head movement to avoid it. A solid leg kick lands there for Jone.
Jone throws a wild body kick that Hitscock sees coming a mile off. Hitscock fires out a quick counter leg kick but Jone just manages to avoid it. Jone throws a leg kick and Hitscock finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hitscock with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

and Jone connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jone throws a leg kick but Hitscock checks it. Nice body kick from Hitscock. Hitscock throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Hitscock cracks Jone with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hitscock has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jone to stand back up!
Jone is rocked! Hitscock cracks Jone with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Jone falls to his knees and Hitscock doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
