Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Kray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Ronnie Kray has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Ronnie Kray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mac Davis!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kray misses with a takedown attempt - Davis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Davis stuffs the takedown attempt from Kray. Kray gets slowly back to his feet.
Kray lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Kray clobbers Davis with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Davis shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kray's guard.
Kray knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Davis on the ground.

Davis thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kray wants to get back to his feet but Davis is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Davis works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Davis is looking for a kimura but Kray is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Davis to get the leverage.

Davis seems to be looking for submissions.

Davis stops Kray from getting back to his feet.

Davis is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kray is just riding it out for now. Davis eventually gives up the hold.
Kray is looking for a sweep. Davis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kray makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kray.
Davis slips nicely into half guard.
Kray is breathing heavily.

Davis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kray defends it well.
Kray is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Davis moves into full mount! Kray won't be happy about that!

Davis jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kray manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Kray is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Davis asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Davis tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Davis has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Davis drops back looking for a leg! Kray is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kray manages to kick Davis off! Davis jumps back into Kray's guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Davis closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kray is looking to improve his position.

Davis is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Davis is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kray is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kray has escaped and now he's on top!

Davis had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kray is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Davis Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kray's back instead.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
