Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rickard Humm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and To Madeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rickard Humm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, To Madeira!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madeira lands with a cross.
Humm moves forwards but Madeira connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Madeira looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Humm fails to land the takedown.
It seemed like Madeira was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Humm is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Madeira leaves Humm with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Humm throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Madeira was covering up waiting for the punch and Humm finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Humm landing with the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Humm working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Humm throwing strikes but missing.

Madeira wants to get back to his feet but Humm is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Humm drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Madeira dives on top into guard.

Humm not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Humm looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Humm definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Humm wants to improve his position but instead Madeira has moved into half guard.
Humm on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Humm tries to get out of the position.
Madeira prevents Humm from standing back up.

Humm wants to control but Madeira is keeping busy.
Humm moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Madeira stays in close to Humm's body and controls the position.
Madeira wants to stand but Humm has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Humm is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Humm wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Madeira is now in half guard.
Madeira is thwarting Humm's attempts to control the position.
Humm is trying to stand.
Madeira seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Humm shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rickard Humm. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Madeira darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Humm on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Madeira lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Humm circles away quickly and effectively.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Humm.
Madeira swinging wildly here.
Humm attempts a counter takedown but Madeira avoids it well and moves away.
Humm takes one to the chin there.

Madeira moves into range and clinches up with Humm.

Madeira breaks the clinch.

Madeira clinches up with Humm and pushes him back against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Madeira breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Madeira lands a really nice looking cross but Humm seems unphased.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

To Madeira dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Madeira takes the fight into the clinch.
Still in the clinch, Madeira scores with a nice short uppercut.

Madeira breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Humm fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Madeira sprawls well initially but Humm persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Humm slips a nice elbow through Madeira's hands, connecting with Madeira's forehead.

Humm is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Humm is working for a kimura but Madeira is defending it quite comfortably.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Humm not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Humm is looking for a kimura but Madeira is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Humm to get the leverage.
Humm trying to mount his opponent but Madeira defends it.

Humm is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Madeira is just riding it out for now. Humm eventually gives up the hold.

Humm is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Madeira avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Humm.

Humm is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Humm seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Madeira has recovered full guard.
Humm throws a strike but Madeira rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Madeira controlling from the top position.
Humm is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Madeira is controlling him.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Humm is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Humm working for a triangle but Madeira defends it easily.
Humm trying to control the position.

Madeira got a little sloppy there for a moment and Humm has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Madeira has managed to get both his arms back between Humm's legs - danger averted.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Humm working a defensive guard but Madeira passes into half guard.
Madeira has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Madeira controlling the pace.
Rickard Humm overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Humm throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Madeira is thwarting Humm's attempts to control the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Humm takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Humm takes a jab right on the kisser.
Madeira lands with a shot to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

To Madeira showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Humm's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!


Madeira tests Humm's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Madeira connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Madeira circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Humm to the canvas! Humm doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Madeira keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
