Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Paha Henki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erkka Petaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petaja is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dead Skin Mask. Paha Henki has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Paha Henki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Erkka Petaja! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Henki. Petaja slips under a jab from Henki. Petaja feints and as Henki raises his hands in defense, Petaja changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Henki looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Henki can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Petaja controls the pace. Petaja drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Petaja jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Petaja looking to pass the guard. Henki is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Petaja sitting in guard here, content to control. Petaja trying to control but Henki is working from the bottom. Petaja prevents Henki from getting back to his feet. Petaja showing good wrestling skills to control the position. That's one minute gone in the round. Petaja is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Henki lands with a cross. Henki rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Petaja moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Henki connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Petaja's hands. Petaja gets the takedown into side control. Petaja looks gassed! Henki is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Petaja is controlling him well. Henki manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Henki lands with a few short shots to the body. Petaja throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Henki looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Petaja is working for a kimura but Henki is defending it quite comfortably.
Henki is not content to let Petaja control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Petaja stops Henki from getting back to his feet.
Petaja wants to take a breather but Henki is having none of it. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Petaja has eaten all the pies!
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Henki misses with the combination.
Henki lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Petaja backs up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action! Decent striking displayed by Henki there. Henki lands with a right hand. Henki misses with a looping right. Petaja looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Henki is fending him off so far but Petaja persists. Nope, Henki circles away and we're back to standing. Henki with a hook. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Henki throws a head kick that misses. Henki misses with a looping left. Henki fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Petaja scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Henki is trying to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Henki actively working from the bottom here. Petaja trying to control from half guard but Henki is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Henki has one foot on Petaja's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Henki rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Petaja moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Petaja fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Henki sprawls well initially but Petaja persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Petaja is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Henki is refusing to be controlled, as Petaja sits in half guard. Henki looking for submissions off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Henki is trying to get back to full guard. Petaja has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Petaja looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Henki flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Poor strikes thrown by Petaja there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Henki is trying desperately to improve position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Petaja looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Petaja is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Henki is surviving well by controlling Petaja's body position as best he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Erkka Petaja will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Petaja shoots in for a double leg but Henki sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Petaja tries to clinch but Henki is having none of it. Henki stuffs the takedown attempt from Petaja. Petaja gets slowly back to his feet. Henki scores with a nice head shot. Henki throws a wild combination but nothing lands. The fighters circle, before Henki throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Petaja's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Henki lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Paha Henki!
