Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julius Bennett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Papas Kanamun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kanamun tries to clinch up but Bennett circles away and keeps his distance.

Kanamun unleashes a big counter combination but Bennett bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Kanamun shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bennett sprawls well. Bennett wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kanamun gets slowly back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

As Bennett backs off Kanamun throws a huge counter combo but Bennett manages to avoid it all.

Kanamun displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bennett throws out the jab.
Bennett lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kanamun circles away quickly and effectively.

Kanamun tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bennett defends well and Kanamun ends up having to push Bennett into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Julius Bennett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Papas Kanamun.

Kanamun drops his hands momentarily. Bennett doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Kanamun staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Kanamun doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
