The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burns lands a left and a right that send Silva crashing to the mat, dazed. Burns thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Mario Silva has been cut.
Silva looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Burns forces Silva back against the cage and clinches.
Burns lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Burns pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Burns has Silva up against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Silva tries to break free but Burns pushes him back against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Burns creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Burns lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Silva is rocked!

Burns has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Silva uses from the top position.
Oh Silva is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Burns is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
A nice left hand lands by Burns.
Burns creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Silva with a big uppercut! Silva tries to clinch up but Burns pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Silva to the mat! Silva covers up and Burns unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
