Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ray Stuckey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Igor Zadarozhni! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stuckey throws a jab when Zadarozhni was well out of range. No luck for Zadarozhni with that takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Zadarozhni. Stuckey connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Zadarozhni gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Stuckey. Nice uppercut lands for Stuckey. That snapped Zadarozhni's head back.
Zadarozhni shoots in looking for a takedown but Stuckey manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Zadarozhni's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Ray Stuckey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Zadarozhni. Zadarozhni fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Zadarozhni feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Stuckey avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Zadarozhni landing some decent shots from guard. Stuckey knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zadarozhni on the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zadarozhni won't allow Stuckey to get back to his feet. Zadarozhni working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Stuckey wants to sweep here but Zadarozhni controlling him for the moment. Stuckey wants to stand and escape but Zadarozhni is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zadarozhni throwing strikes but missing. Zadarozhni cracks Stuckey with a solid left hand. Zadarozhni working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Stuckey's head. Zadarozhni won't allow Stuckey to get back to his feet. Stuckey trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Stuckey working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Zadarozhni. Stuckey wants to stand but Zadarozhni is controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stuckey looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Zadarozhni has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Zadarozhni with a flurry of punches that miss. Stuckey wants to stand and escape but Zadarozhni is having none of it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Zadarozhni will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Stuckey lands a really nice looking cross but Zadarozhni seems unphased.
Ray Stuckey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Stuckey lands an overhand right. Stuckey connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Zadarozhni takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Zadarozhni shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stuckey but Stuckey pushes him off and we're back to square one. Zadarozhni takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Zadarozhni's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Stuckey connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Zadarozhni scrambles back to his feet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stuckey throws out a loose jab but Zadarozhni uses good head movement to avoid it. Stuckey connects with a right hand. Zadarozhni shakes it off. Zadarozhni moves into the clinch. Stuckey is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Stuckey wants to break free but Zadarozhni has control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Zadarozhni has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Stuckey is trying to keep an underhook but Zadarozhni manages to get the takedown into half guard. Stuckey kicks Zadarozhni off and gets back to his feet. Stuckey changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Stuckey is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Zadarozhni with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Stuckey to score with a decent uppercut. Stuckey pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Zadarozhni misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Stuckey looks to land a left hand but Zadarozhni moved out of range nicely. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Zadarozhni is defended easily by Stuckey. Zadarozhni looks winded! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Zadarozhni fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Stuckey lands with a right hand. Zadarozhni takes one to the chin there. Stuckey scores with a one two! Zadarozhni had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Zadarozhni walks into a stiff left hand from Stuckey. Good exchange - Stuckey coming out on top. Stuckey throws a shot from downtown. Zadarozhni moves away and avoids it. Zadarozhni with the counter takedown but Stuckey avoids it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stuckey lands with a right hand. A big right from Stuckey misses. Horrible takedown attempt by Zadarozhni or perhaps it was just good defense by Stuckey, which made it look bad. Stuckey throwing a counter right hand but Zadarozhni manages to avoid it. Zadarozhni misses with a jab, cross combination.
Stuckey lands with a shot to the body. Stuckey slaps away a takedown attempt from Zadarozhni, before circling back to the center of the mat. Stuckey lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Zadarozhni uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Stuckey. Stuckey connects with a body shot. Stuckey scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Zadarozhni closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Zadarozhni lands in his opponent's guard. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stuckey is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Zadarozhni is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ray Stuckey dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Stuckey looks to land a right hand but Zadarozhni moved out of range. Stuckey clobbers Zadarozhni with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Ray Stuckey is winning the standup battle so far. Stuckey tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zadarozhni was well out of range. Poor timing from Stuckey. Zadarozhni shoots in looking for a takedown but Stuckey manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Zadarozhni's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Zadarozhni tries for a takedown but Stuckey sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Ray Stuckey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Igor Zadarozhni is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stuckey defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Zadarozhni. Stuckey lands an overhand right. Stuckey scores with a nice head shot. A punch combination from Stuckey misses. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stuckey fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Zadarozhni on the side of the head. Zadarozhni is breathing heavily. Zadarozhni defending well as Stuckey loads up on a big left hand. No luck with that takedown attempt from Zadarozhni. Zadarozhni is looking to clinch but Stuckey is avoiding it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stuckey's jab looks to have found its range, popping Zadarozhni under the eye. Stuckey throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Zadarozhni sees it coming and avoids it easily. Zadarozhni changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Zadarozhni gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Stuckey connects with a jab. Stuckey cracks Zadarozhni with a good jab. No luck with that takedown attempt from Zadarozhni. Stuckey throws a big counter combination but Zadarozhni scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Igor Zadarozhni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stuckey throws a jab when Zadarozhni was well out of range. Stuckey lands a lovely overhand right. Stuckey misses with a straight right. Zadarozhni doesn't succeed with the takedown and Stuckey counters with a nice uppercut. Stuckey throws a nice looking combination but Zadarozhni bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A slow jab from Stuckey misses its intended target. Zadarozhni has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Jab from Stuckey.
Zadarozhni is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stuckey cracks Zadarozhni on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Zadarozhni falls backwards against the cage. Stuckey follows up with more strikes that drop Zadarozhni to his knees. Stuckey keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Zadarozhni! This one is all over!
