Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Carlo Lott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Olivar Delgado!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lott slaps away a takedown attempt from Delgado, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Olivar Delgado seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lott gets a clinch.

Lott has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Delgado uses from the top position.
Lott might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Delgado decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lott, up you get!
Lott tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Delgado swivels and escapes.
Delgado lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Delgado clinches up with Lott and pushes him back against the cage.

Lott decides to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Lott manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Delgado is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Delgado pulls guard effortlessly.
Delgado keeping moving, preventing Lott from controlling successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lott stays in close to Delgado's body and controls the position.
Delgado wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Delgado really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lott. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lott really is a fat lump.
Delgado looking to control.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Lott doesn't manage to clinch there - Delgado circles away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Delgado dives in for a single leg takedown but Lott sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Carlo Lott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Olivar Delgado.

Delgado closes the distance and pushes Lott back into the cage.

Lott decides to pull guard.
Lott looking for a sweep. Not yet Lott, not yet.

Lott looking for a triangle here. Delgado is fighting it but it looks tight! Lott pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Delgado is tapping out - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Carlo Lott!
