Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chin Checker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Checker comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Time to Fight kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chin Checker!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz throws a hook but Checker blocks it.
Checker throws out a powerful jab.
Checker has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Diaz is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Diaz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Checker throws out a counter right but Diaz avoids it with no problem.
Diaz throws a lazy uppercut
and Checker counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Diaz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Diaz thows a left - swing and a miss!
Diaz rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Checker to counter with a crisp jab.
Checker moves into range and clinches up with Diaz.
Diaz drags the fight down to the ground.
Checker has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Diaz to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Checker is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Diaz pulls down on the head and he's put Checker to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Nick Diaz!
