Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Selem swats away the attempt to clinch by Filho.
Filho throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Filho darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Filho is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Filho misses with a head shot. Selem uses the momentum to regain guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Filho controls from within his opponent's guard.
Filho is looking to work some ground and pound but Selem has wrist control.
Filho trying to control the position from guard on top but Selem is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Filho decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Filho feints and then cracks Selem's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Selem down.
Filho will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Filho misses with a takedown attempt - Selem sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Filho pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Selem throws a series of punches but Filho moves out of range.
Filho looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Selem!
Selem bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Filho wants to sweep but no luck.
Selem advances position into side control!
Filho wants to control but Selem postures up.

Filho tries to buck Selem off but Selem is having none of it.
Filho struggling a bit here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Filho has his takedown stuffed
and Selem counters with a straight right hand.
Filho shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Selem's guard.

Selem will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Filho postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Filho is breathing heavily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Filho is trying to get back to full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Filho closes the distance but Selem moves to the side
so Selem counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Filho wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Filho looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Filho wants to improve his position but instead Selem has moved into half guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Thiago Selem dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Filho looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Filho tries to stand but Selem is controlling from the bottom.
Selem looking for a sweep. Not yet Selem, not yet.

Filho showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Filho wants to pass the guard but Selem is keeping the position.
Filho is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Filho pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Selem is keeping the position for now.

Selem wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Filho is now in half guard.
Filho is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Selem is just riding it out for now. Filho eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Filho is taking a breather. Selem says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
And that's the end of the fight!
Leonardo Filho comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Filho has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
