The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamba fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Alves .
Mamba throws a nice inside leg kick.
Mamba cracks a nice hook into Alves 's ribs.
Alves lands a jab to the head.
Mamba throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Alves stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mamba connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Alves stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mamba.
Magnus Mamba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
An inside leg kick lands from Mamba.
Mamba throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Alves loads up on a big right hand but Mamba slips the punch.
Mamba looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mamba lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mamba throws a big shot that misses.
Mamba has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Mamba thows a body kick. Alves tries to catch it but that hurt him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mamba lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Alves scores with a nice head shot.
Mamba is looking to slow Alves down with leg kicks.
A jab from Mamba misses.
Alves looks to score with a jab to the body but Mamba is just out of range.
Alves blocks a jab.
Alves walks into a stiff left hand from Mamba.
Alves moves away from the strike by Mamba.

Alves cracks Mamba with a big right hand and Mamba goes down!

Mamba is rocked!

It looks like Magnus Mamba has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Alves gets to his feet and stands over Mamba, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Mamba felt that one! Alves unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Mamba from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Renzo Alves !
