Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damo Bodhidharma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Yuber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bodhidharma comes to the cage accompanied by Houzan Yamamoto - Little Green Apple. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 35 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damo Bodhidharma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 15 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivan Yuber!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bodhidharma misses with a head kick.

Yuber closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bodhidharma to the mat! Bodhidharma manages to get full guard.
Bodhidharma wants to sweep but no luck.

Bodhidharma continues to stall.
Bodhidharma knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yuber on the ground.
Bodhidharma is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yuber wants to pass the guard but Bodhidharma is keeping the position.
Yuber wants to control from the top but Bodhidharma keeps moving.

Yuber is standing up over Bodhidharma. Bodhidharma looks to escape but Yuber dives into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bodhidharma keeps Yuber under control for a moment.

Yuber tries for a kimura but Bodhidharma is defending well.
Bodhidharma manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Yuber thows a huge punch but Bodhidharma dodges it nicely.
Yuber is looking to pass Bodhidharma's guard but actually Bodhidharma recovers to full guard.

Bodhidharma pulls Yuber in to control the position.
Yuber in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Bodhidharma tries to land a sweep but no joy.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Yuber accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Yuber sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Yuber drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bodhidharma looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bodhidharma looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bodhidharma!

Bodhidharma trying to control the action but Yuber is working from the bottom.
Yuber prevents Bodhidharma from improving position.
Bodhidharma wants to stand but Yuber has his arm trapped.
Bodhidharma in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Yuber is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bodhidharma decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Yuber shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bodhidharma but Bodhidharma pushes him off and we're back to square one.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Damo Bodhidharma will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Bodhidharma lands with a hook. Yuber tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Bodhidharma pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
And Yuber tries to counter it with a takedown but Bodhidharma pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Bodhidharma throws the left hand but Yuber avoids the punch easily.
Damo Bodhidharma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bodhidharma. Yuber does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bodhidharma lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Yuber shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bodhidharma sprawls well. Bodhidharma wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Yuber gets slowly back to his feet.

A slapping leg kick lands for Bodhidharma.

Bodhidharma misses with a head kick.

and Bodhidharma takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Yuber lands a big uppercut and Bodhidharma crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bodhidharma looks OK. Yuber waves Bodhidharma back to his feet!

It looks like Damo Bodhidharma has been cut.
Bodhidharma throws a push kick but Yuber slaps the foot to one side.
Yuber with the counter takedown but Bodhidharma avoids it easily.
A right-left combo lands from Bodhidharma.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bodhidharma throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Yuber counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Bodhidharma out cold! What a finish! Yuber is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

After winning the bout, Ivan Yuber thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
