Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Go Kenta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alperen Yilmaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alperen Yilmaz acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Go Kenta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alperen Yilmaz! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kenta rushes Yilmaz and presses him up against the cage. Kenta lands a nice elbow. A knee to the head by Kenta.
Kenta will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Yilmaz up against the cage. Yilmaz fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Yilmaz wants a takedown.
Kenta ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kenta no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Kenta keeping full guard, as Yilmaz tries to pass. Yilmaz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Yilmaz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yilmaz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kenta is keeping the position for now. Yilmaz decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yilmaz takes a kick to the side of the head. Yilmaz takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Kenta with a knee to the head.
Yilmaz is trying to pull guard but Kenta has him pressed against the cage. Go Kenta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alperen Yilmaz. Yilmaz wants to take the fight to the mat but Kenta manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Yilmaz tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kenta just stands there and leans against the cage. Kenta using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Yilmaz has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kenta breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kenta fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Yilmaz, pushing him back against the cage. Good body shot from Kenta.
Kenta jumps guard and drags Yilmaz to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Kenta knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yilmaz on the ground. This has been an exciting period of action! Yilmaz trying to control the position from guard on top but Kenta is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kenta is controlling Yilmaz's posture. That's three minutes gone in the round. Kenta drives through and clinches with Yilmaz against the cage.

Yilmaz thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Kenta keeping moving, preventing Yilmaz from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yilmaz forces his way into half guard. Kenta is not content to let Yilmaz control the position. Yilmaz tries to pass to full mount but Kenta defends it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Yilmaz is keen to just control but Kenta is a slippery customer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Go Kenta dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Yilmaz rushes Kenta and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kenta lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Yilmaz tries to pull guard but Kenta won't allow it.

Kenta is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Yilmaz can do to turn this around? Yilmaz works a leg free and moves into half guard. Yilmaz throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Yilmaz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kenta is just riding it out for now. Yilmaz eventually gives up the hold. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kenta is not content to let Yilmaz control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yilmaz decides to return to a standing position. Yilmaz tries to keep at a distance but Kenta has taken the fight into the clinch. Kenta landing knees to the head.
Yilmaz takes a knee to the side of the body. Kenta lands a nice elbow. Kenta putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Yilmaz in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Kenta with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Kenta just leaning against Yilmaz, taking a breather.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kenta tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Yilmaz smiles and moves away.
Kenta clinches up against the cage. Kenta prevents the takedown attempt.
Yilmaz is trying to pull guard but Kenta has him pressed against the cage. Go Kenta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alperen Yilmaz. Yilmaz is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kenta gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Yilmaz has had enough of the clinch but Kenta keeps him there for the moment. Kenta lands an elbow inside. This has been an exciting period of action! Come on Kenta - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Yilmaz shoots in but Kenta avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kenta is looking to clinch but Yilmaz is avoiding it.

Kenta pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Yilmaz clinches. Kenta tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kenta jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Yilmaz walks away with a smile on his face. Kenta gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Yilmaz throws a right and a left that Kenta avoids nicely. Kenta moves into the clinch successfully.
Yilmaz drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kenta pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kenta clinches up against the cage. Kenta pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Yilmaz tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Kenta prevents the takedown attempt.
Kenta escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kenta tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Yilmaz counters with a left and a right that stings Kenta. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Go Kenta dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Kenta instigates a clinch. Kenta tries to land knees in the clinch but Yilmaz avoids the damage to the body. Go Kenta has scored more points in the clinch so far. Yilmaz tries to pull guard but Kenta holds him up against the cage and eventually Yilmaz drops back down to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kenta working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Yilmaz. Yilmaz advances to half guard. Yilmaz works his way into side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yilmaz is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kenta has escaped the position, nice work there. Yilmaz stands up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yilmaz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Go Kenta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kenta is looking to clinch but Yilmaz is avoiding it.
Yilmaz lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Kenta clinches with his opponent.

Kenta lands an elbow just above Yilmaz 's eye. Kenta lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Kenta tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. The referee is keeping an eye on Kenta - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Yilmaz throws a right hand that Kenta ducks under and follows up with a left that Kenta also avoids with ease. Yilmaz misses with a few strikes there.
Yilmaz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Yilmaz has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kenta throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Yilmaz is trying to pull guard but Kenta turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Go Kenta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alperen Yilmaz. Yilmaz is trying to force a seperation but Kenta has the dominant position. Yilmaz is looking for a takedown. Yilmaz changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kenta fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Kenta darts in and clinches Yilmaz up against the cage. Go Kenta is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yilmaz is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kenta to keep the fight standing. Kenta lands an elbow just above Yilmaz 's eye. Kenta gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Yilmaz.
Yilmaz tries to score a body lock takedown but Kenta shows good agility there to stay on his feet. A nice glancing elbow lands by Kenta. Yilmaz has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kenta is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Yilmaz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kenta walks away with a smile on his face. Yilmaz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Kenta forces Yilmaz back against the cage and clinches.

Kenta can't keep his opponent in guard - Yilmaz advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Yilmaz trying to control the action but Kenta is working from the bottom. Alperen Yilmaz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Yilmaz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kenta's head.
And that's the end of the fight! Go Kenta showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kenta, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
