The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Lugz wants to clinch but Murphy slips to the side
and Murphy counters with a slapping leg kick.
Murphy scores with a hook.
We've been hearing reports that Murphy has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Murphy digs a good body shot into Lugz's ribs.
Murphy scoring well with a low kick there.

Lugz takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Lugz tries to clinch but Murphy moves away
and Murphy counters with a double leg. Lugz bangs his head on the mat and seems to be on queer street here... Murphy follows up with punches and the ref steps in to end the fight! It was the slam that caused all the problems.
