Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Light Diode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lonje Moco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diode's entrance music is Warren G and Nate Dogg - Regulate. A fine choice. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Diode there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Diode cracks the inside of Moco's front leg.
Diode connects with a single shot there.
Moco tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Diode manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nice uppercut there from Diode.

It looks like Lonje Moco has been cut.
Moco moves in looking to clinch but Diode pushes him off.

Diode closes the distance and clinches.

Diode breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Diode throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Moco takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Diode throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Moco tries to move into range but Diode moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Diode lands with a cross.
Diode pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Diode misses with a wild combination.

Moco gets tackled into the cage by Diode. Diode maintains the clinch.
Stalling in the clinch from Moco.
The referee calls for Diode to work.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Diode.
Moco is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Moco stalling in the clinch but Diode improves position.

Diode breaks from the clinch.
Light Diode is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Diode lands with a good body shot.

Diode has managed to clinch.

Diode has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Moco uses from the top position.

Diode looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Diode is looking to cinch up a triangle. Moco throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Diode's body to avoid the submission. Diode has instead reached around Moco's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Diode arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Light Diode was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
