Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pete Rock!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Pete Rock has been cut.
Jones throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Pete Rock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rock shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rock walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Rock fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jones to the ground. Rock is now in Jones's guard.
Jones utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Jones is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Rock cracks Jones with a solid left hand.

Rock works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Rock content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rock on the ground.
Rock wants to free his trapped foot but Jones is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Rock is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Rock controlling the action here.

Rock dives in for a single leg takedown but Jones sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rock gets tackled into the cage by Jones. Jones maintains the clinch.

Jones moves in looking to clinch but Rock pushes him off.

Jones closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Jones stalks Rock and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rock's face. Rock staggers backwards, shaken.
Jones shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Rock eats them both and turns towards Jones to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Jones scores with a jab to the body.
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rock shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side.
Jones lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Rock fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jones sprawls well initially but Rock persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Rock takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
